katie. some of the "cake bakers" on here use the tube method .. i dont do it that way. here is how i do it but hope you'll be able to understand it as i'm pretty useless at description.
measure the cello leaving enough to gather at the top.
position the cake in the centre
then hold the tops 2 sides together and just start to gather from right to left trying to fold slightly as i go along.
secure temp with an elastic band
fold the side toward the back and secure with a little cellotape ..
repeat for the other side
then fold the bottom to the underneath with lots of cellotape.
a good idea at this point is to have the cake slightly overhanging a table so you can see underneath.

You could try holding it together with an elastic band until you put on the ribbon. Works for me!:):j0 -

also for those of you wanting teddies,i struggle to get the shining stars from home bargains so i have to travel about 25mins to b&m to get them im well stocked up on them at the mo but home bargains have got some keel teddys in for £1.99 i know that these should be around £7-10 usually, once i can post pics i'll show u them xxx0
