Quick question for all you mega-talented people- how do you get your blanket/muslin/towel to stay together neatly? Do you use safety pins then hide behind ribbon? Mine looks really iffy!

I use shirt clips, the little plastic transparent ones and sometimes take them off when I've tied the ribbon around, sometimes leave them on, you can't really see them. I personally don't like the idea of pins but I know some people use them.

I use clothes pegs until I tie the ribbon & then I take it off. I use brightly coloured pegs so I din't forget to take them off!!:)

I use pins to hold the blanket and then remove them when the Florist Ribbon is on. On odd occasion when ribbon is not enough, I just use a tiny safety pin hiding it under the ribbon

I do but I can't work out how to use photobucket! I've uploaded them to my facebook but its set to private lol.

There were cream teddies, grey elephants, cows, dogs, sheep, pigs, lions- they weren't massive ones, just right to go on a top tier iykwim. I used a couple on cakes I made tonight and they look really nice.
