Thanks! becs for the info on Couriers. Can I ask what size box you use for a 3 Tier?

I reckon I need approx 700mm tall x 300x300. Silly question, but do you turn the top over where the bow is or get taller boxes to take the full height? They are so expensive.
Also, do you have top openers or long side openers?

Sorry for all the questions! As you can tell, I havn't posted any yet.

    Hi Monpenny,
Mine are 52cm x 54cm x 46cm. They are side opening boxes and the cake lays on its side diagonally accross the box. I then use the polystyrene worms to fill the box. I put some in first before I lay the cake in and then put the cake in and fill up. I think you need to be prepared for the cake to travel any way up because couriers will not pay any attention to the "this way up logos etc" in my experience. The cellophane keeps them fairly well together itself anyway. I think the most important thing to ensure is that you have double walled boxes otherwise if the box gets damp/wet etc it can be very easily damaged.

I have been asked to make a luxury Winnie the Pooh in neutral colours. I made one last year and manged to get a lovely set including blanket from Mothercare also a lovely Baby Gund "My first Winnie the Pooh" but I am struggling this time round.

I have a few months to make it but apart from Matalan and Asda I can't find anything else. The Disney store only do blue and Pink but not neutral.

    Has anyone seen anything?

    Thanks.

I don't think you have to, I have product and public liability insurance just in case anyone decides to try and sue me! I'm not expecting them to but you never know nowadays, for the sake of £40 ish.

Mothercare have neutral clothes, might be worth keeping an eye and see if they have any offers in the next couple of months!
