Hi all. I've got quite a few cakes to make up and am running low on nappies. Has anyone seen any good deals?

I know that there is one BIG shop (wholesaler) called BGC but I never was there. I go shoping to B&M usually for blankets, towels, wash clothes and sometimes toys. Also Primark blankets and towels bodysuits socks etc The soft dogs i've used for Motorbike was from Pound Strecher. That's all where I go shopping The rest is from ebay, and similar. Hope that helps

I've just checked the maximum box sizes that they will send and mine are too big so make sure you've used the calculator to ensure your parcel isn't too big.
  • I've checked and the max size will be 36x36x80 cm so my 3 tier is to big too but smaller are ok Maybe I'll look for smaller boxes? don't know will search till I will find some then let you know

Thanks! becs for the info on Couriers. Can I ask what size box you use for a 3 Tier?

I reckon I need approx 700mm tall x 300x300. Silly question, but do you turn the top over where the bow is or get taller boxes to take the full height? They are so expensive.
Also, do you have top openers or long side openers?

Sorry for all the questions! As you can tell, I havn't posted any yet.

Hi Moonpenny, love the cakes, absolutely stunning.
I'm sooooo jealous, it's been ages since I've done any 1 tiers, they always seem to be 3 tiers.
Mind you, I shouldn't complain, last week I had an order for 4 x luxury 3 tiers and a daddy tool belt ... all for the same lady.

Thanks CandyB, Wow! that was some order!
First 1 Tiers I have made. Only seem to sell 3,s but shouldn't complain as I like making them most of all.
