Beautifull cakes everyone! and jojo_saphire - they are gorgeous! I especially like your pink chick one, it looks really sweet.
Got a couple of 3 Tiers to make and an order for a Luxery one. Got loads of girl / boy stuff but everyone still wants neutral and am finding it a problem getting (reasonably) priced creamy sleepsuits. I use my sleepsuits on the outside - wouldn't matter so much if I put them inside the cake.0 -
Moonpenny have you looked in Tesco - they have a new range of stuff out in cream I'm pretty sure that there are some cream sleepsuits in there0

Lovely cakes everyone - well done!
I am just 'baking' my sock cupcakes at the moment and have run out of the paper roses that I have been using - I bought them from the cake craft shop and they don't seem to have any in stock now
Does anyone know where I might find some reasonably rpiced?
Thanks in advance

Cathy - lovely cake! Like the idea of WTP sitting on a plate! It is isn't it!?! I never thought of that one before - good also for if you don't want the nappies to show I guess.
Making cakes for older kids - I have only done a couple, just used a ring of card thought the plant pot idea is good - if you can get them the little metal buckets might be useful although think they are more popular in spring timeI know you can get them with choc stuff in at easter. I suppose you could also use a basket if you found one the right size bread basket kinda size maybe bit smaller, wrap the towel on outside and then fill the basket and make it look like a cake - it does in my head anyway!!
Yes, I did use a plate lol! Wanted lots disney stuff, and thought tit too sweet, didn't even think how or where I'd put it! Made it once and hated it, but so pleased how it came out when I re did it!0 -
carlymummy - paper roses - you can get packs of them in 99p shop I think about 16 in a pack They are just the right size for sock cupcakes! They also sell the same ones in the works too.....
I keep meaning to upload my pics but haven';t got round to it yet. Have a fair tomorrow and still up to my eyeballs in making stuff for it thought I'd come on here for a break! And maybe get the hoover out as have magic reindeer food all over the place lol!!!0 -
