What's the diamensions of your cake? My boxes (after being adapted) measure H=22" W=11" D 12". I wish I could buy boxes this size for a reasonable price!! x
Riggerz - could you tell which ebay seller you buy your boxes from please - although at this point I only want one!
Bargainbabe - can't seem to get that link to work!
The dimensions of my cake are similar to yours although height is a bit more, about 27" - will have to see what my hubby can do - although all the boxes I have aren't that tall! Oh dear!0 -
Popkins, I can't find the details of the seller at the min but will have a little search and come back to you! Thanks to everybody in the crafting threads who inspired me to start my own business!!0

Popkins, I just remembered!! It was AVM Packaging they do a whole pack of boxes, tape, bubble wrap, paper, markers etc It was great value and I will def be using them again. The P&P was free and they came the next day so no complaints from me!! Thanks to everybody in the crafting threads who inspired me to start my own business!!0

Sorry Popkins its this: http://www.payperparcel.co.uk/
If you can get a box with a good width, you could adapt so it became the height iykwim?"There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -
I just got back from the craft fair wow what a day it was soooooooooooooo busy now i have loads of stuff to make again for next weeks 2 day oneI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0

well done giggle!! I have been at a craft fair too today! - I was quite busy as well - was invited to a baby show but its in 3 weeks not sure whether to go or not as I haven't done one before, only craft fairs and have no idea of what stock I would need to take with me. Anyone who has done one before did you sell lots on the day, take orders or even get any follow up calls I'm not sure what to do. I wouldnt imagine many people would buy on the day as they are generally gifts rather than something you'd buy yourself?0

Please could someone tell me what a 'Nappycake' is?0

Hello Ladies,
Hope you don't mind me joining the thread, just I randomly stumbled across it (I was 'on my way' to the wedding and anniversaries board!) and decided to have a peek. After seeing so many gorgeous nappy cakes I thought i'd try myself since my cousin is due in a month.
I was going to put a pic up but I can't figure out how to do it!
my problem seems to be it doesn't look like a cake but more of a...squashed muffin! its only two tiers but just looks odd compared to the ones on here!
Also - where does everyone get their cellophane from?
Thanks everyone
Melanie0
