Really pleased for you that it's gone well tonight - you'll be so much happier without the extra stress of trying to carry such a huge burden on your own.

What about getting the whole family on board? Even quite little kids can help with chores so you're not stretched so thin - and it might loosen their ties to sky a bit...

Try and find some (cheap) ways to treat yourself so you get your batteries recharged - what about an hour on your own in the bath with a library book or second hand mag (before the others get to use the water, of course!) It sounds like you're the linchpin of the family and you need to take care of this vital resource.

    All the very best

Thank you all so much who have posted with your messages since i left mine last night - you are all so kind and have been so supportive - its like an AA meeting but for those in debt?? :o

I really did have my first good nights sleep in ages, i know the debts are still there but at least the burden of them is shared - he was more aware than i knew to be honest - he said do you think i didnt notice reminders coming - my first reaction was - why didnt you say anything then? but to be honest i'm glad i was the one to approach the situation, i took someones advice (sorry cant remember who) and printed the SOA off in full - without missing ANYTHING off, and left him to read it while i went to make a drink. I expected him to hit the roof but instead he just read and digested it - then said we will pull together, try to work harder and bring more money in - goal for now is to play catch up - which i think will be the hardest part - after that i will make the minimum payments on everything and then do the 'snowball' - im so glad i had a lightbulb moment, and i am once again so thankful for all your kind words of support - i wont forget it.........

Will poist on here every day until i am debt free - thats a promise.......

Thanks again - your all my heroes :A :kisses3:

    Hi Dottyanne

I am so pleased to hear that telling your husband went so well. With the two of you working together as a team, now you can get on with the rest of your life and start sorting things out. Well done you (and him)!
