    Hello everyone!

Mrs McC Please can I declare at £135 for June, I think this is about right, but got a bit muddled with the receipts. A bit over I know ............again, but not as bad as some months. Please Mrs McC could you put me down for £85 for July. I need to try and get back on track for my annual spend. I don't think I will manage the July amount but it helps to keep me focussed and I don't get too bothered by the lapses because I know I'm spending about half of what I spent last year.:j

My garden is producing well now, so I can really supplement the grocery budget, so that should help a bit. Good luck everyone for July.

_pale_ OK just totalled up knew it was going to be bad, Ive been having to let them take over abit due to health mmmmmmmmm consequences time! I'm declaring at £305.39  I have had a rethink on the budget as I can see that I am just going to have to be more flexible, ds1 and his son will be eating here at least 8 times in July, mil 4 so theres alot of stretching and of course the odd treat for those that are here all the time as they are going to have to be more active on the cooking and home care front (they may need a little carrot to entice them) So I reckon £10 a day to cover all food, toiletries (except the ones they choose to buy:D) and cleaning bits this would make Julys budget £300

  • I've just done a mega shop today on the last day of my challenge but bought enough meat to go in the freezer to last most of next month. £8.49 in Farmfoods, £7.49 in Mr M and £33.04 in Mr A. Saved a total of £5.21.

So I'm delighted to be declaring at £234.50 for June.

Hi everyone, I've failed spectacularly this month to keep up with the thread, but I'm very pleased to report a total June spend of £185.07 - an impressive underspend!!!

I think it's at least partly due to OH working such long hours recently that he's not being eating much at home, as we haven't really cut back on anything recently. And the good news is - I've got a new job (thank god!) and my new daily route to work will take me straight pas A!di!! :D I was very excited to pop in there today on the way home and pick up some 49p fruit & veg - I'm so easily pleased :rotfl:

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the most un-British summer weather we seem to be having :T

    Oh. Dear.

Well I set a budget of a generous £150 for two people and went over by £45 making it £195. I've been away a lot and busy and I'm also trying to eat healthy whilst not getting a chance to shop enough which means buying a lot of veg and ending up throwing some of it out :( I am ashamed. Will do better next month.

Evening all. Just a quick update from me - I'm so tired I think my eyeballs are going to drop out. They've gotten much drier in the evening since having laser surgery (but I was warned that would happen initially :(. Not helped by the fact I left my eye drops in work

A shop of £35.49 for us tonight, which included tonnes and tonnes of crisps for work, some snack sized bars of Twirl... and then lots and lots of fruit. Plus a few other bits.

    Off to update sig now
