I work for local council as clerical assistant. Only work 21 hours, Term time only! £8400, all the school holidays off with my beautiful daughter and staff discounts on lots of things. Love my job0

36, Factory Worker earning 16k flat which you can add 3.5k to with shift allowance( if the work ever picks up again). 23 days hol + 3 days at xmas, no pension, personal health plan for you and first child( pay extra for spouse and additional children).
Barely pays the bills these days although is on my doorstep and my kids school0 -
47y old. GP. My income is approx £70k for this year - approx 57.5 hours a week. i work 47 weeks a year and get 5 weeks annual leave.
This is an 8% drop in salary from last year and we are forcasting a further drop of about 5% for the next financial year due to recent pay freeze (although staff / heating / lighting costs etc increasing).
Benefits : None that i can think of.0 -

I stopped giving myself a title of what I worked at a few years ago thankfully.

2 yrs ago was a Team Leader/HGV driver running a transhipment site for a large chemical company on £27,000 a year 27 days holidays,PRP Bonus ,Final Salary pension ( been there 25yrs )then got Tuped,after 1 yr was given a wage slash down to £22000 25 days holiday no PRP bonus ,Rubbish pension then made redundant Sept 2009.
Got a full time HGV job in Nov 2009 on £10 ph so £20800 per year and about another 3000 a year in O/T (sat working x 1 1/2) no pension 20 days holidays + the 8 bank holidays which we can work for double time so another £1280 - total = about £26300 for working every hour available0 -
