I teach at a local college full time £30.500 pa and my wife also teaches full time in a school £32.000 pa all with the lovely long holidays that we get every year

Recruitment Manager for a city based consultancy £35k base + £5k car + pension + 30% profit share - which all in last year equated to £78.5k. The best bit is it's home based so no more trips in a sardine can to London.

It's been a hard few years and recruitment is one of those industries where you feel the pain for the first few years but if you nail it you will reap the rewards..
