There is more fiction on here than in my local library! Why would someone earning £150K be money saving and if it is genuine - you lack class sir! Remember Harry Enfield's sketches!0

Maybe they are tight
I find in life the tightest people are those with loads of money for obvious reasons
Or maybe they are writer of fictionpatchwork_cat wrote: »There is more fiction on here than in my local library! Why would someone earning £150K be money saving and if it is genuine - you lack class sir! Remember Harry Enfield's sketches!0 -
Im a stay at home mum, my DH is currently a temp as a delivery driver earning £6.20 an hour, he should be working 40 hours per week but the company have only been providing enough deliveries for 33 to 36 hours a week.
Unfortunately this is the only job he has been able to get, he has lost 2 jobs this year due to relocation and going out of business. It doesn't pay great but he enjoys what he does.0 -

I'm on this forum largely for investment issues and pensions, not that I need to explain myself to you.
I have a good income, yes. What exactly is your point? If you look at my other posts you will see similar themes - I have nothing to hide.
And what does class have anything to do with it? This is an anonymous forum and this very popular thread invites people to put their income on it. Are you saying that only low-paid people can post?
Idiot!
As this is an anonymous forum, I have no problem sharing this information. This is direct from my payslip this month:
Gross salary £12500
BUPA contribution £60.08
Minus
Personal pension contribution £2500 (plus firm's contribition of £1125 and NI rebate of £160) so gross contribution is £3785
Tax £3185.06
EES NI contribution £413.24
Net pay £6401.70
Any more questions?0 -
Class - means not rubbing other people's noses in it - how can you crassly post this income if it is indeed true, on the same thread as another lady who is a SAHM whose husband is on £6.20 per hour. That is thoughtless and the only motive you can have for posting is an ego boost.0
