21. Working as a trainee accountant, I earn £13k a year gross. Free Bupa healthcare which is nice, flexi time as long as I do my contracted hours per week and 31 days holiday. I also get my study course paid which costs my employer just over £2,600 a year. Course takes 3 years so I'm happy to take a lower-than-average salary for my area/job and not have to pay my own study costs.0

I feel so good being able to write in here now.
Though not a job i am due to start an apprenticeship which is decent compared to some and if i do well with it due to the type it is and where it is there is a good chance it could lead to a permanent job.
It is an apprenticeship animal keeper and will be 6696 a year which is decent for an apprenticeship - most are 400 a month mine is 558.
I look forward to the prospects afterwards - i have done some research and the starting pay is not brilliant only 13k but i could be working with animals with something different everyday. Beats sitting in an office for me anyway.INACTIVE ACCOUNT0 -

The salary for trainee accountants is far too low imo compared to when you are a qualified accountantThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hairdressing salon manager 22k plus up to 4k bonus plus free treatments (I don't claim many, on average £150-£200 monthly). Hair and beauty industry is a very low paid job, you have to do it for the love of it.
I was probably on a better rate when working as a hands on therapist if you count commission and tips. But then again, I am really good at sales.
I also teach yoga at a rate of £30 an hour. It's much better paid but very competitive industry.Mortgage £8472.53

Always exhausted, overworked, everyone else seems to slack off and talk about football or dress sizes all day, underpaid.... I need a new job!
Sounds awful, I would definitley be looking elsewhere if I was youThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
