No exact pay. Only hand outs from a family business when it's only a 'family' business when there are problems to be sorted out. Then it becomes a ' family' business. Those problems I have to sort out as they come in type of questions as @ what do yo think about this@ then get bamboozled into the whole problem cos i am such a sap. They bung me a few quid when I complain. LOL I think that would sound great on a dating website profile.

Nobody in this country is ever likely to be mortgage free, as the whole country is mortgaged to the hilt.

Sorry but I am. Made good money in my 20's and had some luck:j even after Blair and Brown!!!!

Now property develop with my brother, take 10k salary to cover my bills, no perks, studying for a Msc and work unpaid for a charity 3 days per week.
    20p Savers Club 2013 #17 £7.80/£120.00
  • Age 25

Healthcare Assistant for the NHS and a care agency

NHS - band 2 first tier
£7.55 per hour plus 12.05% on top of my wages as holiday pay as I am bank so have no set hours. Good pension, good future prospects such as pay rises within my band, good maternity package etc...

    Agency
Pay varies between £6.59 per hour for day shifts and upto £10 per hour for night shift depending where I work ie. get paid more if we go to the NHS mental health unit where the agency has a contract. For me it usually is the £6.59 although I do some Saturdays where I get £7.48p/h. Holiday is some strange calculation based on what you worked in the previous 12 weeks.

My past jobs have included mothers help/Doula where my earnings were tiny but it fitted well with my young family at the time and I loved it; boat cleaning for set charge, something like £4 per boat; night care assistant £6.24 p/h, love the job but hated my workplace and everyone was paid that rate regardless of the shift, I for example did fri sat and sun 12 hour shifts 8am-8pm but those on days and working weekdays were paid the same. I am now glad to be in a job which recognises weekend and night work and pays a little more for doing it.

Good luck with your future prospects and the pre-election property bubble being created, by the tax payer guaranteeing the deposits that people don't have.
It us a bit like the "cash for clunkers" scheme that prevented large sections of the retail motor trade from going bust in 2009 - but it cannot last.

I am not sure you read the link because you have made no mention of the burden you will have to carry in the future borrowed on your behalf by the government to fritter away on current spending not future investments.

At least if you have self financed your studies, and you pass, you should be in a position to join a world elite and travel and emigrate to less indebted parts of the world.

    43. Professional Gambler (that is what I have on my mortgage as well!)
Last year I took in 78k for the year. Last 5 year average is 92k.
    Love being my own boss

There is a thread in the matched betting board of this forum with negative experiences from people trying to get a mortgage and failing because of their exposure to bookmakers. And they are people with full time careers who make money on the side risk free through matched betting.

You would be rejected from every mortgage lender in the country if you told them you were a professional gambler. I'm calling you out on this one.

Did you need qualifications to get this job?
I would like an office job next, I think. I've always worked in factories and warehouses mainly, and i'm tired of working my fingers to the bone in the cold and getting moaned at, but when I go into the offices, they're always messing around on youtube and drinking hot chocolate. Different world.

I'm thinking something like a payroll clerk would be nice, but I only have GCSE's.

Now THIS is what I want to do. I hate speaking to people over the phone. But I lke helping people and I am much more comfortable and better at it when writing (email)
I just never really knew such a job existed.
So should I be looking for a job title of 'E-comms customer service' or something?
