Morning all,
Not the best OS evening last night, started out well making a bag for my sister with ym sewing machine (still a novice but getting there) but it's jammed now and I'm not sure why.
I really do need to learn more about sewing machines before I break it again. I heard someone say John Lewis used to do introductory courses etc. Anyone know of anything like that?
Going to look at a flat to rent at lunchtime, not sure whether I should go for it or not. I have a cheaper option to stay with a friend but also like my own space. Hmm will get somewhere up here eventually with O/H but have to wait at least a few more months, will see how nice the flat is, might not be worth it.
Off to google about trouble shooting with sewing machines. Have a good day all.

Hi Guys!
Thanks for all the well wishes. My health is rough again, so havent had much energy to post. New meds are causing a few problems, but hopefully they will be adjusted next week again. My hair is falling out and has really thinned out, along with my eye brows and lashes...I need shooting really:D
2 x washloads have been done of bedding and towels. OH put them on the line, so they are drying nicely. DW has been on and emptied. Cleaner has been this morning, so house all sparkly. OH & DD are currently outside mowing and weeding....so it should be nice for the weekend and maybe we can have a BBQ.
OH bought some lovely flowers yesterday from Morrisons and were only £1.97 with an extra 20% flowers, so quite a full bunch.
Car insurance has been paid for the year at £409:eek::eek::eek::eek:.....it was the cheapest I could find and OH has 9 years NCB
I am listening to DD's Ipod whilst they are outside and reading through coursework as I have an assignment due next week.
Anyway, hope everyone is well.
JackieO-How is the cold?
Take care.

(((Hugs))) to Mr.& mrs Catman,Beth and Pen Pin.
The kitchen looks like a bomb has dropped as my DB and my little niece have been over, being school hols. She waltzed in saying 'I already know what I want to do' and proceeded to get her craft box out and made 2 lovely pictures with sparkly bits stuck on.The trouble is on her last visit she saw me getting a few bits from my card making stash and now knows where I keep it so she raided that too.She is very decided in how she wants to do things-she makes me laugh-all those years I spent as a nursery nurse in Reception doing art and crafty stuff with the children, and I still do it wrongNever mind, she shows me how.
We decided to pick a bit of salad for lunch which she loves doing, just made me wince when she pulled some up by the roots.I just stopped her from adding pansies to the mix
After they had gone I went to the local shops, and market for fresh stuff and picked up a big frozen turkey reduced to 6.99 from the Co-op,I will get loads of meals from that.I think I shall leave it frozen for a bit though as the weather forecast is so good for the weekend. We all enjoyed our fish pie type tea last night-I cooked the mix in the Remoska then put some cheese sauce over, and topped it with ciabatta crumbs mixed with grated cheddar. It went all crispy and golden.Even DH who eats fish under sufferance liked it.
Right better have a quick tidy and sort out tea.x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. (Eleanor Roosevelt)0
