It is very easy to scan a letter head and and write a letter! They would only need to change the phone number in case he called (which he did) ........ before he panicks too much check out the law firms phone number in the phone book or internet and cross match with the letter. If he has downloaded anything at all and his mates know about it it could be an early April fool ????I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes0

Did it mention Symantec? If they are really starting legal action against file sharers, I would have thought it would be in the news, cos "your friend" won't be alone.

They have got to start somewhere - I would have thought that they would normally start with the worst offenders, to make an example.
If they really didn't do it, fight it all the way. If they did, pay up, put it down to experience, and stop using Kazaa..Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
