Just did a search for this to see if people were still wanting more - and they do!!!
Nothing interesting to report though. Its nearly a year since it all began! I havnt heared anything in a long timne so will see if i can find more out. Im guessing its still in the bus garage - but surely he would have been able to claim it as abandoned or something and cashed in. And the scottish buyer - learned his lesson i hope and wont be so stupid as to travel from one end of the country to another to buy something and not take it home!0 -
I'd really love to buy it.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

cant believe people are still interested! I beleieve its still rotting behind a bus garage - unless he sold it. In any case the scottish buyer has abandoned his bus and lost some money - silly so and so!
Bit of a ebay legend this now!0 -
I believe the DVLA have a special procedure for claiming ownership of vehicles abandoned on your property, and I think it would have been at the bus garage more than long enough for the garage owner to do so.0

I just found this thread via a link from another ebay thread
what a story! & what an eejit my fellow countryman is
I was so engrossed in both threads, that I lost all track of time last night & ended up being late for a night out & having to go out in my 'knocking about the house' clothes, lol
glad it's (eventually) turned out well for you code-a-holic :T0
