Reminds me of when I used to take my brother train spotting when we were kids. Down at Broxbourne there was a level crossing with a really, really low bridge (about 5') you could use if the gates were closed.
One day somebody went through with a loaded roof rack on :) Emerged (partially) to a gang of giggling teenagers all with cameras and notebooks.
    Can I help?

Unbelievable! I hope it's all worked out for you at last - but was really dissapointed to see that the pics of the bus were no longer available through the link :-( Sounded like a real smasher (Groan - that pun was not intended!)

    HELLLOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Sorry its been so long - nothing to report!

The police manged to catch up with my dad for his verion of events and we have heared nothing since!

Bus still at the local bus garage....bet the bills are pilling up for the scottish guy!
No word from him - still not left feedback for me either!

When we sold it, with MOT. That MOT is running out in a few weeks!
If someone id decide it will have a proper criminal investigation or go to court....then the bus has been stnading still, unstarted for months - for a C reg vehicle that is not a good idea. Any any tests results would be no indication as to the state of the vehicle when it was sold.

On that simple bit of common sense i cant see it all going any further - but then again.....does common sense comes in to it once the police are handaling things?!!!!
No offence intended for police officers - not had much to do with them myself - just what i've heared about PC's lack of common sense!

Gosh this must have been dragging on for so long for you now! I would have hoped that the police would have been in touch by now if something was happening - you could always try contacting them to see what is happening to save being in limbo for ages.

Hope it all ends up okay - keep us updated!

I still cannot understand the attitude the seller is taking towards this issue. It has been running for months and personally, (although I don't know all the minor details) it is his fault! Surely he should just give in and accept that he made a mistake; he crashed into a bridge!

Best of luck, and please don't give in!
