Yeah you tell 'em Levi nathan, downright dispicable how they treat people nowadayz and u havin to get a crappy job in an office cos they wouldnt pay your money, can't u sue them ?

I am unsure as how to read your response. Because it sound like an attempt at a jibe.

Would you rather that I kept claiming off the state because I refused to accept anything but a teaching position? Then I would be called pickey and a sponger. Cause guess what - I do have a work ethic - I would rather be out doing something - rather than spending all day watching TV.

So you know what zappster - get off your !!!!!!! high horse and don't dare pass judgement on my actions.

Im really glad you are not my kids teacher. Every post of yours that I have read has such aggression in it.

Its not aggression - its just because I write what I think. There are plenty of "yes" men/women in here that you can socialise with.

Do you teach anger management by any chance

    I thought not :rotfl:

I do not think they teach English either by the spelling mistakes etc!

It seems we have another charmer on the board by some of the comments.

It is rather unkind to be so harsh with people who are just blowing off steam and are fed-up, even if you feel they need a harsh lesson. Easy to jump to conclusions without knowing the details.

The benefits system is (rightly ?) designed to make you jump through hoops, hopefully we end up caring for those who really deserve it and putting off people who are trying it on - expect there to be honest mistakes both ways. That, in some ways, is the definition of our democracy (bureaucracy).

Let's reserve the vitriol for the government, lawmakers and adminstrators who deliberately cheat the country they claim to serve.

p.s. sorry that sounds really patronising on re-read, poking my nose in. I was just passing the time waiting for someone to reply to my own post, or, even better to thank me for something I ever said once. Addictive, this forum !

It seems we have another neat freak on the board going by the above comment.

I proof read essays, reports and paperwork. I do not proof read rapid posts.

Surely correct English should be second nature to a teacher, not an optional add on in certain circumstances!

No just pointing out that you are not what I would expect from a teacher, but sadly standards have gone downhill over the years. I expect it is as easy to be a teacher as it is to work in an offices these days.

Hardly, I believe you still need graduate and post-graduate qualifications to gain entry to the teaching profession. Whereas some office jobs only require you to pass a basic literacy and numeracy test.

Yes I know, I was being facetious.

For pities sake, its not a matter of yes men/women,we are here to help people with problems regarding benefits,if we can help you then just expalin how,if we cant then go away. You dont even seem able or willing to expalin exactly what they rejected in relation to your claim, and if you treat staff at the dwp the way you talk here then frankly its little wonder they are making your claim difficult.
