I got my card a couple of weeks ago and it has the swirly design on it, no mention of Vanquis on the front, it just says VISA.

Congrats on the Vanquis acceptance Rose

Thanks, i guess i cant complain, the card is doing what i need to it do so design makes no difference, lol

Im just hoping they are generous with my credit increases

Ouch, they said my APR was 34.9%, is that correct? Either way, ill be paying off the balance in the interest free period!

Same here, 34.9%. So far i'm paying mimimum plus extra payments on top, so i'm not benefiting from the interest free period . Once i've cleared the balance, i'll do the same.

Just working out, if I was to go out now and spend the whole £1250 I would pay about £50 a month in interest charges if I left a balance
Pay minimum payment of £65 and I would pay off £15.
Good job I don't carry a balance month to month :rotfl:
That said, even with high interest I love Vanquis as they do exactly what they promise.
    Rebuild credit :j

I haven't even used my Vanquis card yet! I've used Capital One a lot (like the online banking!) and Aqua once, but my Vanquis card is still a virgin :rotfl:I'm waiting to use it for diesel as it's my highest APR out of the 3 cards (39.9%) so don't want to use it for more than £20 a month.

Capital One was apparently 34.9% but on my statement it says I'd only pay 30% interest if I carried over my balance this month, so only £2.30. I'm paying it off in full though.

I love rebuilding my credit file, I'm so sad :rotfl:

Haha, no, I'm paying all 3 off in full every month. The only reason my Cap1 has had a bashing this month is because I was waiting for a cheque to clear :p;)
I've learnt my lesson when it comes to credit cards :rotfl:

That's the same as mine - hubby's is the one at 49% (well, it's actually 48.89%, but what's .11% between friends ;)) we're both trying to build up our rating too, but we had a few months when it wasn't paid off in full and the statement said the minimum payments was £22, with the interest being £18.50 - so glad we're not in that situation any more. Hope none of you ever have to go through that either which is why I pay them off in full now every month.
