I have asked for an extension, but only today as I was sure I'd get my other one done with time to spare :o

  • ooh rosepink you are awful!!! It's a skin mole, or at least it was, now its a gurt big scar :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

dusty you have inspired me, am off to see if DH will be productive in the veg beds with me...well it is half term :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

sarahshattered I totally sympathise, had acrimonious divorce myself and even though he'd done a flit when DD 3 months old, still swaggered about as though the world owed him a living. Will pray. You don't think straight in that situation, tell her heroin addicts get to keep their kids, so she doesnt have a problem in that direction. (not a comment on heroin addicts BTW)

    off to hoover DD1s room.

Thanks everyone for your consideration and helpful words re: my friend. It's helped to put my mind at ease, she wouldn't hear anything at the moment. I haven't heard anything yet.... I do hope it's gone well.

I feel awful. Fell asleep for about 10 mins, then DH came home and I woke up. Was trying to drop off again but he kept asking me questions and moving furniture and being noisy. So i gave up and got up. I now have a stomping headache and my body feels like lead because it's tired.

He is very kindly cooking dinner, but I'm wondering if it would be less stressful to do it myself as I keep hearing exclamations of the: "oh bum!" variety coming from the kitchen. :rotfl::rotfl:

Question: how do you cook jacket potatoes? I know this is a stupid question but DH has never cooked them before and i'm not totally sure of what to do. We have limited time so I thought he should microwave them and then put them in the oven to brown up, but so far the results from the microwave have been slightly odd!

Sarahshattered - hope it's been ok for your friend today. Hugs to her and you xx

Tootles - massive hugs to you sweetie xx

Flying...I scaped the stair carpets and vacuumed downstairs. Also did S/S throughout as friend came round with her children. Had a lovely afternoon chatting whilst the children trashed upstairs. Not a problem as now they have to make it all tidy!!!!

Hope you're all having a lovely day xxxx

Rosepink~~ I put them in the microwave for about 8 mins, then into the oven for about 15 to 25 mins depending on size. Remember to stab them a couple of times.!!

    Right:-

I have weed killed outside my office this afternoon, much to the amusement of the guys in the next door unit!

RoseP - I normally nuke them for about 5 mins and then stick in a hot oven to crisp up.
