I thought that my Littlewoods Direct account number etc would work on Very site, got a letter last week telling me that I would be moved to Additions direct from 5th July.
Tried Very this morning, no joy, went onto Additions site and works fine.
    VERY strange

Exactly the same with me. Can't understand why the account wouldn't work with very when I orginally had the account with littlewoods direct, which ofcourse now has been rebranded as very. Strange that I was moved to additions direct from littlewoods direct.

I Applied for Littlewoods and Littlewoods direct in space for hours and got them and since have applied for 3 other SDG accounts including additions, and all got declined .. Veryy strange

I have been with Littlewoods about 3 years, started off with a few hundred pounds as is usually the case.

I think these days though they start you off with a bit more than they did back then hoping that you will spend spend spend and therefore owe them more money.

My limit is now £5100! so has gone up by well over £1000 per year! My advice is be careful with a Littlewoods account of any kind.

    Why do you say that?

    Why do you say that?

High APR and their idiotic lending policy! I mean who in their right mind would go and spend £5100 on a clubby at 30 odd % APR? Its bonkers!

But it seems people would still spend loads on 'clubby'.
They just love the comfort of home shopping and the ability to spread payment irrespective of APR. To be fair some club books now offer interest free. Though as you would imagine the stated price has been marked up already....

    Evening guys,

i've recently been a victim of fraud. Someone has hacked into my catalogue accounts and ordered £100's worth of goods.

Thankfully one catalogue company suspended the account before any goods were despatched but the other company let the orders through and goods were fraudulently sent.

Anyway, it's being investigated by the companies concerned, but i've been told future orders can only be placed by phone and must be paid for up-front. So i guess i now effectively have a cash account.

It's all very inconvienient, but what are the chances of me getting my credit account back? The companies aren't really giving me much info. No letter has been sent as promised and i'm not sure what's going on with my accounts.

Also, will i still be getting those precious green 'o's on my credit file?

What catalogues were they? Presumably if you have a cash account, they will no longer register green 0s

Hi cif, they are studio and jd williams credit accounts, but the credit facility has been blocked due to fraud. Future orders i place will have to be paid for at the same time i place the order.

I just wondered if they'll re-instate the credit facility at any point? Otherwise, there'll be no Xmas at the Bigbum residence this year .

Hope things are well with you :).
