Well the saga of the toaster I ordered from Studio 4 weeks ago, it's officially out of stock:o So I thought I will apply for a Choice catalogue, they are the same as Littlewood's. I have bad credit from 5 years ago, still on file:eek:

But, bit the bullet and applied came back with congrats an account number and £800 credit limit! So will close the Studio catalogue as there isn't any interest with Choice and I usually pay it up as I want no debt.

Just checked my Littlewoods Direct account and they have increased my limit to £1350 from £600.

Sometimes they show as green D's. This means the account is open and not overdrawn etc, but is dormant.

I came across this catalogue called Bonprix, you can apply for a personal account with them. Found out they are part of the Otto Group which includes Grattan and Freemans. I had a default with this group 5+ years ago, although with moving my last 2 addresses are 'clean'.

So about 3 years of clean files, would they check futher back than 3 years?
