ok, im from 'Shrewsbury', 'Shrewsbury' used to be called 'Salop' in the good old days (like donkeys ago)
but residents of Shrewsbury are still known as 'Salopians' as they were years and years ago.

I went to Shropshire years ago on a school trip and me and my girlfriends got into a slanging match with some local rough and ready street urchins :rotfl:. I hope it wasn't any of you guys on this board. If so, i have some unfinished business with you :mad:
