What question do you have Tracy? I'll answer it for you if I can.0 -
didnt know you had been ignored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I remember someone asking that question and thought an answer had been given
Id always go with applying on the phone because i dont really trust the online thing. One person applied online today and got declined, when he called up, he got accepted!
So that just backs up my theory that applying on the phone is better. Some people have applied online with no issues so I guess its each to their own!

When I applied for my Accounts with SDG I applied online.
I requested a catalogue firstly and then it pre-authorised an amount, so I went ahead and applied again online for an account, they matched the pre-authorised limit and gave me my account number there and then.
If you are declined there will a telephone number for you to telephone and they will explain their decision to you.

Speaking personally I would rather be rejected by a computer than a human voice.
That said, these days and mainly thanks to N.I.D I would always appeal rather than waste a search. i dont mind applying on the phone because they cant see my face when im shocked about the decline decision and by the end of the day, they would have most probably forgotten my nameOfficial SOS Club number 014 - Dry until 29.11.090

Exactly Brian. I would rather apply online for that reason, it saves the embrassment
, also it's more convenient.
i do think applying online is and quicker does save time and a big phonebill dialing those 0870 and 0845 numbers to be told NO
But then people could argue both ways isnt it?
And I am so for appealing tooOfficial SOS Club number 014 - Dry until 29.11.090 -

I'm immune to declines now. I've had that many that it doesn't come as a shock anymore.
My latest is a decline from HSBC for a Plus account. :rolleyes:0
