i did that when i was 19/20yrs old,on my motor bike.had to choose lorry over taking a car coming towards me or ditch ....
even got a card of my mates

Another busy day in the DT household

1. Get baby ready for all day contact :mad: not happy about this but hopefully will be sorted soon as I had a phone call from social worker last night to say he would try and get it sorted in a couple of days rather than the 3/4 weeks I was told before it pays to get mad but I can only get mad on the part of the children not for myself which I need to do sometimes.
2. Sort out what I need to buy for two birthday cakes one dinosaur and one princess castle so that i can bake them today and decorate them tomorrow while the little [STRIKE]devils[/STRIKE] angels are at school.
3. Go and buy birthday cards and wrapping paper and wrap presents whilst they are at school today as they keep getting up to go to the toilet at bedtime and are likely to catch me in the act
4. Tax two cars
5. Sort out paperwork - bit of a recurring theme really need to get on top of this
There could be more but I will be lucky if I get all this done:rolleyes:

Well it was temporarily solved today because both mum and dad cancelled contact so I took her for her immunisation on my own which I preferred anyway. She was very good.

ds 5yrs finished school today for the summer,,got back to the car and he says

He should be a psychoanalyst I am indeed troubled - too many children and 3 birthdays in one week but I am immensely cheered up now thanks to your little one he sounds a scream.:T:T

...and all the more lovely when you imagine it said in an irish accent! (i'm assuming this now, based on location...:)) my fave accent in the whole world, i should have been irish (or at least married in that direction!!)

My brother in law is southern Irish and they got married when I was five and I said "Don't marry Jilly Johnny marry me instead":o he has a lovely accent and is a lovely man.
