The good news
1. The office is clear
2. OH has moved into office and therefore we now have a clear dining room:jand an empty cupboard in the lounge unheard of :rotfl:
3. The lawn is cut. Thanks to Lucielle I got a good deal on our new mower:T
4. I have started weeding and reclaiming the garden
5. I have lost the 2lbs that I put on so now can start the diet again
The bad news
I am spitting feathers went for a review for our foster child last week and I asked for changes to contact arrangements to enable her to have a better routine and everybody was in agreement just needed to get the practicalities sorted Social Worker came on Monday went through it again and he said he would deal with it. E mail yesterday with new arrangement and it is totally f**ked up the new arrangements are not the ones I asked for and are worse than what we have now sent email back and Social Worker admitted he had made a mistake but it can't be changed again for another three or four weeks I am fuming and have sent an email to say so this is not in the child's best interests which we are all supposed to be working for. So she will suffer because the Social Worker couldn't organise a !!!! up in a brewery.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
Can you tell I am slightly miffed :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh that's horrendous. Poor little mite. I could frequently rant about some (i don't want to label all social workers) that i've worked with over recent months. All the red tape seems to outweigh common sense all too frequently. I find it so hard to understand how the system works for the kids sometimes
On a happier note, well done on losing those unwanted lbs. Just ONE celebratory ice cream thoughOne step at a time0 -
Sorry to hear about the useless (for want of a better word) social workers. Glad you got a good deal.

Been shopping to get birthday presents for the little twins and the baby three birthdays in 6 days :eek:but glad that is done. Just need to sort out what birthday cakes to make I think it will be a dinosaur and a princess castle cake for the twins not sure about the baby's cake yet.
Been to see the little ones teacher today first time for the new school and she is pleased with them so that is good what is bad is that we should have gone last week and I forgot for the first time ever not a good first impression:o but she was really sweet about it,
Not done much else felt lazy today.
Oh well no excuse not to get some work done in the morning or of course I could read some threads I have been meaning to catch up on - decisions decisions
Have a good Saturday until we are back to anyone who is lurking instead of working :rotfl:
