Sounds right to me that's how my mind works too:rotfl:
Debt busting is definitely on the back foot at the moment as I have no money (or at least not enough) to last until payday on 31st July. I really hate getting paid every three months you have a flurry of debt busting around payday and then nothing much for 3 months. I can really see how we managed to get into debt because even though I have tried to be careful and budget for the whole three months I have still managed to c**k it up this time and reckon we are going to be seriously into overdraft (which I haven't had to use since our LBM:mad:) by payday which of course has a knock on effect into the next 3 months. The problem is we rent out a property in Lanzarote and when the deposits and balances come in I have been happily using them to pay off debts but now the people are actually in the property I am having to pay cleaning bills, electricity, pool maintenance etc out of my normal income the balances have dried up for the moment because we are going for 3 weeks in August and I have reserved 2 weeks for my kids in case they manage to get out there after their A level results come out so there are no rents due for Aug and beg Sept and the ones for end Sep and Oct are not due yet. Something I should have seen coming and made allowance for but didn't so that is a lesson learnt.:o
Plan for week
Paperwork today and start tidying office
Take OS for much needed clothes tomorrow
Hairdressers and finish tidying office Thursday
Do accounts Friday and make appointment to see accountant
The Friday one is especially important because I am hoping due to our £15K paycut that my tax bill 31st July will be cut a bit and thereby help the cash flow.
Right need to get baby ready for contact with her Mum.

Ouch ouch ouch ...but I can relate to a lot of that, the weird money flow, the foreign property you can't tell where the money goes until the dratted foreign language stuff arrives. I *wish* there was a baby living in this property! But a friend of mine adopted a 5 year old who had maternal visits, so I've at least *seen* the prep .... hope it all goes smoothly.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

The good thing is that we are actually going there in August we haven't been since Easter last year and I do so enjoy it when we are there.I expect that there will be lots of jobs to do which is why we are going for 3 weeks so that we do get some holiday and I can see if our wireless internet that has been put in actually works - oh yes me by the pool logging on that's the life.:D
Where in France is your property do you let it out?
We are lucky that our management co. are English and they live just across from our property so do keep an eye on it and are good in presenting it for guests but sometimes they miss things which drive me nuts when I get out there like the garden although that should be under control this time as it it now being done regularly but I really like the villa to look nice all the time.
The baby is lovely she will be one the same week as mine little ones are four so that should be a lovely week.
Did well with my paperwork today I have broken the back of it hope to do some more tomorrow either before or after clothes shopping with OS. He has gone out to celebrate finishing his exams, OD has got into Art College and thanks to Mum she now won't fail her A level art  her exams finish on Thursday so the tension is lifting.
OH has cleared the garage I have never seen it so tidy this decluttering bug seems to be catching in our house:rotfl:long may it continue:D
Going to play some more free bingo now played loads this week won nought:mad:

The week doesn't end until Saturday night so I still have time to catch up on my plan
Paperwork is partly done
Clothes shopping is done
Hairdressers is done and I am pleased with my new hair colour
Office is well on the way to being tidied and I have gone through all the files and weeded unecessary things out so this is a thorough job and there should be plenty of room for OH to move his stuff in.
Accounts are not done yet need to finish clearing office but will be a priority for Monday.
Debt busting is really slow I can only pay minimum payments and with paying a balance transfer fee this month I have only reduced total debt by just under £260 which is pathetic but cash flow is dire. I have had an enquiry for my villa tonight which looks hopeful so the deposit would be welcome but enquiries are slow this time of year. I can't complain because we have had a good flow of bookings this year our best year ever.
I am just bored with it at the moment it is only exciting when you can really see you are making a difference at least all the minimum payments are going against capital as all cards are at 0% but it is not very satisfying.
Not a very jolly post for my 750th but it reflects my current mood.
