your not understanding me. They havent left me neg and i wont leave them it either unless they leave me it, but im sure once they realise why ive bought their item, they wont leave it.

    TSFE.
Additionally, members are prohibited from bidding on or purchasing an item to disrupt or to leave non-positive Feedback or Detailed Seller Ratings for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.

Breaches of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:

    *

    Listing cancellation
    *

    Limits on account privileges
    *

    Account suspension
    *

Forfeit of eBay fees on cancelled listings
    *

    Loss of PowerSeller status

Go on fella, leave the neg - fill your boots.
ebay will be a better place for the rest of us without you.

And people still wonder why sellers were stopped from leaving negs, when their are keyboard attendents like this in existence?

There is no mention of the tax either - just a blank where the expiry date should be, but nothing further to explain why, or that it is not available to the buyer.

I wouldnt be put off by 95% feedback, its really not that bad to be honest. I have bought from sellers with 90% feedback and the negatives they have received are all from people who appear to be non paying bidders.

I dont pay much attention to feedback unless a person has alot of item not received comments im not too fussed.

I think feedback is pointless personally as a buyers feedback doesnt reflect a true buyer anymore as you cant comment if they do anything wrong to warn over sellers.

im more concerned with my buyers feedback when they have 0 feedback and only registered the day before etc.

Feedback is great for finding a seller's weak spot. The other day I was shopping for new dresses and was just about to purchase when I read some feedback saying the dress was "nice but reeked of smoke". Then I found many more neutrals/negs saying the same thing. Needless to say, I didn't buy.

so should i have stated "no tax, not much petrol left, plenty of air in the tyres"?
if the tax isnt specified then I just assume it doesnt have tax.
Ive been a member of this forum for a long time, always thought the people where level headed and polite, but this is the first time ive ventured on the ebay forum and ,,well,,most of you need to find more fulfilling things to occupy your time than stating ebays policies and how my soul will be fed to the devil and how my user name here is the same as ebay,,,,,jeez

You've learnt the hard way on this - you do need to describe everything in detail, the good bits and the bad bits, and the uncertain bits.

Assumptions are dangerous on eBay. Maybe the buyer thought that you had simply forgotten to fill in the details?

This section of MSE has a LOT of eBay experienced users. One thing that we know is that the rules and regs of selling on eBay can be complex, and the consequences of non-compliance can be severe.
We see buyers who lose money, we see sellers who lose goods, we see both sides getting stiffed and supported by paypal. When things go wrong we get all the sob stories, we get all the !!!!!ing, we get the finger pointing, we get the bad advice, the good advice and the obtuse advice.

What we also see is a lot of people who mistake fact for opinion. "I think your safe", as opposed to "You are safe, but only if you do this, this and this". Which would you prefer to hear from someone with experience.
