your not understanding me. They havent left me neg and i wont leave them it either unless they leave me it, but im sure once they realise why ive bought their item, they wont leave it.

I understand you perfectly. You bought something you don't need so you can scare your buyer into not leaving you a neg.

I hope your buyer is smart enough to know that any neg you leave can be removed.

Unfortunately we are understanding you.

However you are playing a dodgy game, the buyer merely has to report you as a malicious bidder if you leave a neg and the neg will be removed and you will get a seller warning on your dashboard.

Wave good bye to your ebay account then and the feedback you leave them will be removed by ebay. I had a seller do this to me once because i paid, received the item and queried something with them, wasnt happy with the poor rude response i got and negd them, the seller then used their other account to do just what youve done before, i rang ebay who asked me to fax some stuff to them which i did, they got both accounts suspended, the one they bid with is still suspended and the other was for a bout a month but my neg is still there and the neg they left for me has gone.

I think what you have done is appalling, as a seller ( i also sell) a negative feedback is just one of those things you have to accept. I have had non paying bidders before but i dont bid on their stuff just to leave them negative feedback. so what you would have got a neg all you need to do is leave a follow comment to say its a non paying bidder.,

sorry, im just not getting why you think this is appalling. Ive been an ebay user 4 10years both as a buyer and a seller, ive always been straight and honest and i expect the same in return,,but,,if someone messes me around, be it on ebay or elsewhere, im not just going to sit back and accept it,, why should I? what ive done is buy an item from them legit, i will just sell the item on once ive received it. This ebay user was way out of line, they though they were being clever by holding me to ransom over the car tax which wasnt even part of the sale,,their plan backfired and then they got all annoyed because they realised theyd missed out on a nice car. Im sure this is where the whole thing will end, all ive done is given myself the option to return neg feedback if they do to me. I live by the moto "a tooth for a tooth",if thats deemed as appalling then so be it.

You will get your fvf back from eBay unless the buyer pays via paypal as thats the only way they can prove they paid.

Bidding on something they are selling to put them off leaving you negative just shows that you are actually no better than the buyer and wrong. The buyer probably wouldnt have left you negative if they hadnt paid.

The buyer will now probably leave you negative ( i would), wait for you to leave them negative, then report you because you purchased something of theirs solely to leave negative feedback and to threaten them that if they leave it for you, you will give them neg, send off proof to ebay that its a seller they recently bought from leaving them neg cause they left you neg, get your feedback removed and you will either get a warning or suspended all because your worried about 1 negative feedback! I hope your buyer uses this website and sees what youve written and uses it as evidence to prove that you only bid on their item to leave negative and for feedback extortion.

Its unfair that you as a seller cant leave negative feedback for a non paying bidder but thats one of the rules you agree to when you list an item on ebay and a risk that every single seller on ebay takes. If you dont like it then dont sell on ebay
