Hi All,
Have just put house on market, but after viewing your posts I am now wondering if I have wasted my time?
I did take into account the market etc. and have priced reasonably, but need to move back nearer family as a bit sick of driving up and down every weekend for family commitments.
It's only been on a few days, so hopefully we might see some action after the bank holiday weekend.
Good luck with selling.
Is doing my head in. Ive been on 13wks 2moro.
1 viewing, person wanted it with mortgage advisor subsequently told them the max they could afford was 17% BELOW the asking price.Squish0 -

Good luck to all those with viewings / waiting on next steps this weekend. I am happy to report that after going back on the market yesterday I had a viewer this afternoon, who liked it a lot, and have another viewer booked for Saturday. Neither is yet SSTC, but it does give me hope!3.9kWp solar PV installed 21 Sept 2011, due S and 42° roof.

Don’t whatever you do think that things will happen fast. The professionals in the system will ensure that that doesn’t happen!0 -
Good to hear about people getting viewings and whatnot. I'm hoping that september sees the market picking up around here. Nothing seems to have come from my second viewing despite the fact that 'he really likes it'. A couple of local properties have sold in the last few days. I've just made a mock up bed in my smallest bedroom (which was my study) after hearing people on here talking about doing that. The room seems much bigger without my desk in it.
Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone.0 -
Had our first viewing in 5 weeks today! The lady is in rented accommodation at the minute. Unfortunately all she spoke about was how she would have to knock the wall down between my lounge and dining room to make one huge room. Don't think shes a goer shes viewed over 20 properties so far X x x0

Sounds like a Kirstie wannabe!
Hope the potential makes it the right one for her and you get an offer:).
I've just fallen in love with (another) property that's appeared on rightmove today. I have to stop doing this as my heart keeps getting broken0 -
I've just had a shock.
A house at the other end of our road has just gone up for sale & being nosey I went to look it up but as it was with an agent I didnt recognise I just googled our road + house for sale. I saw an ebay link for a property so clicked it - it was me!!! Never knew I was on ebay - looks like it is zoopla with a classified ad - never heard of it before so I was quite shocked. And I've just seen that the ad was placed after we accepted our offer0
