    hello.

i really have no idea what the rules are now regarding using Tesco grocery vouchers, i think they are account specific?

    but,

my OH received a "£5 off £50 spend" email the other day but we (I) have managed to delete it.

did anyone else get it and if so could you post/PM the code?

    thanks alot.

    Hi

Just about to place a first time order with tesco direct. Does anyone have a £10 off code? Been hunting around and can't seem to find any?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry, right thread, in response to follow-up a few posts ago (on previous page).

I'll post in when I have it sorted. At the moment, the booking is made, we have some tokens ready to go, but am hanging on to get the vouchers now due, exchange for tokens, then send the lot to the holiday co.

Tried phoning Tesco, but got some comatose customer services person who (just about) said there was nothing to be done to speed it up.

Vouchers now due are £70, so £280 of value, assuming done before early December - worth hanging on for, and not yet heard anything further from the holiday co.

Tesco wrote to the people who had record of doing 'deals', explaining the new rate, and when the November vouchers would be received by (assuming they had the right address).
So don't understand what you were expecting .... how can they speed it up!?

I've got a date booked for laser eye surgery at Optimax, where I'll be paying entirely with Tecso tokens (only way I can afford it). I'm still slightly short though and a friend was going to buy something for £45 at Tesco Direct. She suggested to me that as points are only worth face value at TD I might as well pay for her purchase and she can give me the points she would have spent, which I can quadruple up (for now anyway) to pay for Optimax. The thing is, can I use the numbers on her vouchers, which have her name on, or will they only work on her account, meaning she has to order my Optimax tokens? And if this is the case then I guess I need to check with Optimax whether they'll accept tokens with her name on... TIA!

I got caught out today; my vouchers arrived and I used a £6.50 (my smallest denominator voucher) in the clubcard voucher exchange promotion. The amount of £5.00 was transferred into £10 in deals to use on toys on tesco direct. The remaining £1.50 was refunded to my clubcard account for future use.
When I then received my £10 email code to use on the direct website for a £9.00 toy purchase, and was not bothered about the £1 loss; it was refused.
Upon calling the clubcard line I was told that the voucher can only be used for item priced £10.00 or more (not less), I am unable to find a toy for this price that is wanted and therefore the voucher (code) is worthless to me. Tesco are refusing to re-credit it to my account as they class it as spent (even though it isn't and they clearly know it isn't).
Therefore I have now lost £5.00 in clubcard vouchers.

Tesco claim it is CLEARLY shown in the terms and conditions but nowhere did it state that when I tried to order it, and I am struggling to find it anywhere in the mailing.

Needless to say I am very unhappy with Tesco
