Hi, can anyone help with this please - was looking at dining chairs in Tesco yesterday and it said free delivery over £75 yet when I try to order online its adding the postage, do I need a postage code? Also when I added the 500 extra points code it wouldn't work, is it because I'd put in the £10 off code? As I need 4 chairs can I order 2 then order the other 2 under my Fathers name so I can use the discount code twice? Any help appreciated.

    Hi

i've not posted on this thread before - to be honest only just found it! I ordered something last week with the free postage and it came off at the very end of the checkout process.

I also tried using the 500 points code and the £10 off code but it would only let me use one so opted for the points.

Don't see why you can't order in your father's name so long as he has a clubcard and is registered - even if it is at the same address. If you can't I expect somebody will put us right on this.

    good luck

When do vouchers usually get released if you opted to save them as a Christmas lump payout?

My local tesco won't accept printed online vouchers e.g. the free airwick candle

I told him that Tesco definately accepts printed vouchers, and he said that that store doesn't.

I then asked why all of the Tesco's around the country accept them but not that store, and he said he doesn't know why and walked off

Should I complain to the store manager or head office?

They can refuse vouchers if they want, pretty sure there is no obligation for them to accept.

The Nov vouchers - which include those in the Tesco Cristmas Club, will be going out in early Nov.
To the address that CC have on file - as at the 23rd Oct. - if you've moved - call.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Don't know if this has been posted anywhere but Tesco have annouced that they are reducing the value of the points deals.

You can currently trade Tesco vouchers for rewards worth four times their value, eg, £10 of vouchers becomes £40 of Pizza Express vouchers, RAC membership or magazine subscriptions. This will fall to three times on 6 December, so from £10 to £30.

Quote from Martin Lewis ... ''More important is the fact this has got out in plenty of time. It means a clarion call needs to be made to anyone who has a Tesco points stash wait until you get your next lot of vouchers come November then, if the Clubcard rewards appeal, pounce on them at quadruple value before the 6 December deadline."

    Bummer.

Thanks for this - that's not good news. Given that almost all of the deals are priced at twice the lowest normal price, that means that the points are only going to be worth around 1.5 times face value.

Tesco are already substantially overpriced as against Lidl, so our Lidl/Waitrose shopping combination will continue, cutting Tesco out more or less completely.
