Thanks for helping kez out earlyer your advice by the look of it was great.
I am just trying to get it sorted now..... the only thing that hasnt been tried is uninstalling and re installing the DVD program i got with my graphics card now. Im also trying to uninstall all of the codecs i can find then re installing the program you mentioned earlyer.
On a side note do you know how to check if i have an processes running on my computer that shouldnt and how to remove them? an good free programs that can do this?

oh i forgot to mention...it is alsothe video that is going slow but the sound and video are keeping in time!0
