hi all
1st time i have posted on here so please be kind!
I was overpaid £7K by them in 2005, i phone them straight away to tell them and was told that someone had inputted my wages as £26 and not £26,000. I ask them to send me a giro repayment form to ensure the payment was correctly returned i did this 3-4 times over a period of 6mts, which they never sent. I never heard a thing from them. To cut a long story short i have now had another baby!!!! and i've managed to get myself into debt (my own fault) which i'm sorting out slowly, so i phoned the tax office to ask if i could have any payments. I have now been sent a massive bill and asked for the money back either straight away or over 12mts, they may as well take my house now!. I just feel if i never phoned they would never of picked up on this. I have asked for a dispute form and i've made an appointment to see my M.P.inneedofcash

They'd have picked it up eventually I'm afraid.
It would be advisable for you to start your own thread for specific advice though, as you will get more replies that way. This thread is a bit of a dodgy one and I imagine some posters are avoiding it now!0
