    Good morning everyone,

Apple-mint, hope the hospital tests go ok, i know what its like to be waiting around a hospital!!!
Snowy - hope the car isnt as expensive as first thought, like Queenie suggests, i have an account i save in for any car repairs, tax etc so something well worth doing!!!
Queenie - im also looking forward (?) to the budget, find out how much extra im going to have to pay for everything!!!!
Ronankfan - hope the windows go well today!!! :j

Well, attempted to eat some salmon with my mashed potato last night, big mistake, jaw really hurting now after trying to chew, so another few days of soft food, it is getting difficult to think of things now tho, other than soup and mash, although i thought i might give scrambled egg a whirl later, how exciting!!!!
Just two little ones today, and still have loads that i should be doing, but who knows, the house is generally clean so im not at the panic stage yet.
Hope everyone has a great day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

squeaky - any relation to you? Discussions

PP - I've travelled to London several times already this year, try not to worry.

smokey - Wow! £15 for scant hours interview sounds great! :T Hope it goes well :D

Ice - try not to view it as a horrifying £50 - might be less stressful to think in terms of £1 per week: mentally it's more do-able and easier to come to terms with (especially as they have us by the short and curlies!).

cat - firstly ((hugs)) Just think "baby food" - last summer/autumn when I was in dental agonies I managed to eat hummous without problems and it was easy to vary the flavours ... Tesco's had an offer on :o How about: milk puddings? (custards, sage, tapioca, semolina?) hm salmon/meat "pastes" to add to the mash to give more flavour? Very soft bread should be do-able too. You really do have my sympathy :( ((hugs))

As for the budget, I didn't mean I was looking forward to it  I meant it will be "interesting" to hear what GB has to say about taxing people extra according to how much rubbish they generate!! (Cheeky blighter!) I live in an area where they only began to "trial" recycling bins a few months ago, and even then it was only in a select few streets (mine wasn't one!).

Methinks it could generate an influx of new members to Old Style though  ;)

    Morning everyone :hello:

Feeling much better this morning, due to doing nothing last night - slept fairly well, even considering DS2 woke after a bad dream at 3.15am.

DS1 off to school and DS2 mooching around downstairs. Will be having showers later and then I may try and do some of the jobs I didn't do yesterday. The hall carpet is covered in mud courtesy of lots of boys forgetting to take their shoes off yesterday, but didn't have the energy last nght to vac. It will be easier today because it's dry :D Need to vax downstairs again soon anyway.

Haven't a clue what to make for tea yet. I have some pork chops in the freezer, will just depend on how many. Or some tuna steaks.....decisions decisions... :D

It's a lovely sunny day here and I think we missed the really hard frost last night, so that may spur me on to do something :)

(((hugs))) to everyone and I'll catch you all later.

    Morning all,

Its a lovely bright, but very cold day here in thr Midlands.......better nights sleep last night, but up early OH as an appointment at the hospital, he has arthritis in his feet and has to wear special supports in his shoes, he needs new ones..... me I am off to the local sewing machine shop for a few supplies........leaving the CC at home so I do not buy more than I go for.

I bought plug plants a few weeks ago from B & Q, the busy lizzies are flowering on the back window cill, cannot believe it......... even the fuchsia's are getting little buds, must nip them off, want them to grow into BIG plants before they flower!!!!

((((((((((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))) to anyone who needs them this morning, good luck to those with hospital visits, exams, tests etc.............and especially to Math, Mrs Math and the Mathlletts after yesterdays news......... I really hope there is something just around the corner.
