  • Elle - did you wash your membrane down the sink too? :o

Just a few thoughts that were buzzing round my head when I couldn't get back to sleep at 3.30am

 Thanks for sharing your insomnia Caz ;):D

emlou - the box of TT breastpads by my bed says that the TT CTN bottles are BPA Free...not sure if they always have been

There used to be a drive-through bank in Liverpool where Catherine Street meets Parliament Street (edge of Toxteth) but they closed it down.
I am going back nearly 15 years though :o

Leaving babies in the car - I don't leave Benjamin...but it is nothing to do with him getting upset I am scared that:

    a) someone will steal him,
    b) someone will steal the car with him in it (this happened not long ago nearby), or
    c) that the car will catch on fire (again, there has been a story in the news within the last 12 months)

Nope, but I nearly have several times. I've got a different type of shield from the hospital which I prefer to the soft one so was looking for another valve for that type, but it appears I can use the one from the Swing on it too :D

Nope, they haven't.. I was looking at some in Mothercare and trying to work out why the prices were different, but it was because some were old (inc BPA) and some new (BPA free). Coincided with them changing the markings on the side of the bottle too, I think.

Hadn't thought of the fire one! You have a swisher car than me anyway - not sure anyone's up for stealing mine! :p

I leave Charlotte in the car when I can see her - like going in to pay for petrol at somewhere with a big window. I don't like leaving her when I can't see her, like collecting a parcel from the Post Office as the windows have card stands in front and posters so you can't see out.
Here I go again on my own....

Yes, but if you could then get yourself BACK to sleep, it would be less of a problem, wouldn't it? I used to use my CD when I woke up at silly o'clock, now the radio is usually enough, but the pillow speaker is great if you're not wanting to disturb other people.

Same with elle, I feel tired just reading what she was doing at 4 am (and I know I was up at that hour the other day but I hadn't been to bed, which is different!), and I would have gone back to bed and relaxed myself to sleep. Actually I did that so effectively at 8.45 this morning that I was rather late for church. :rotfl:
