OK, who was asking about drive-through cashpoints? Here are the instructions, differentiated for male and female drivers. Warning: those who need assistance from Tena should have it in place first, drinks should be put down etc.

can i ask while im here if anyone has trouble sleeping and any tips to help? im tired all the time i mean exhausted but can only sleep from 11pm to 3am. if its not baby waking me i seem to wake myself and then im up an down until i eventually give up and get up, probably more tired than when i went to bed?
There have been threads about this on the Health board, if you could drag yourself over there. These days DH and I put Radio 4 on quiet, we have a radio alarm so it can be on for up to two hours, although I'm usually well away within 10 minutes, the World Service is hugely soporific. :rotfl: But it doesn't disturb the other one: I know some people couldn't cope with that.
It's not so good with a little baby but I put in headphones on my phone and listen to classic FM..... Not good if you need to listen for little one crying tho!!!!
Ah, but what you need then is a Pillow Speaker! Although it only has an old fashioned connector so might not talk to an MP3 player. You can hear it, but it won't disturb anyone else and it won't stop you hearing 'noises off'.

However, before and after my brain surgery (some of you won't remember me from back then, but I've had a small benign tumour out and I'm fine, thanks!) I used to listen to a Relax and Sleep CD from Meditainmentif ever I couldn't get to sleep. The Relax section came first, and I don't think I've heard the Sleep section all the way through to the end more than half a dozen times, even though it tells you to try to stay awake until it's finished.

I still keep it handy, and always take it away, just in case.

Of course I also have things I say and sing in my head (I do hope I'm not the only one who does this?):
    • I am doing a good job (even though it hasn't felt like it today).
    • It's going to be all right (even though I have no idea how).
    • God knows what He's doing (which is just as well, because I certainly don't).
Although as you'll all have noticed my sleep patterns are a bit shot right now, so I'm a fine one to talk. However I am off to bed soon (or DH will be on to me.)
Signature removed for peace of mind

Oh crikey, what's happened to me?!

I woke up at 3.40am when OH brought Rhys through to me, screaming his head off - they'd been in OH's "den" so I hadn't heard him. Gave him his bottle which was what he wanted as he took it like a dream then went straight to sleep..

Then I decided it was a good time at TEN PAST FOUR to do some jobs!  Expressed, did all the washing up of milk things, put a load of washing on, did normal washing up, cleared away dry clothes, hung more stuff up to dry, tidied the kitchen and now contemplating filling in the child benefit forms before I run out of time (to have it backdated, I mean). Not in the slightest bit tired now..

Don't like this at all.. Going to have to see if I can work Rhys' feeds to 12, 3, 6 and 9 - 6am is a much more reasonable hour to get up and stay up! :o

You thought about handsfree pumping? You could be awake for less time at silly 'o clock then.

You mean pumping whilst doing the washing up? There are pics of a woman doing that in the info leaflets at our hospital.. don't think I could master that :o

Feelie - Other Southerers = me and Em... not sure who else.

Not caught up (again), but we had a lovely time yesterday at my friends bbq. Izzy had lots of cuddles and is just about working out how to crawl backwards - heaven help me!

Just waiting for DH to finish playing computer games so we can go out to allotmentand to a pick your own for strawberries and possibly other things too. So I should have time to get dry washing away, wet washing out, wash up and probably other stuff too ;)

I think it is quite easy to do. I couldn't manage it because I couldn't find a suitable bra in my size. My enormous boulder holders cost so much, I'm not cutting holes in them!

I did have a go with this one:
    http://www.expressyourselfmums.co.uk/details2.asp/ProductID/282/sid/27/easy-expression-halterneck.htm
It seemed to work, but was just too small for me, and I worried about blocked ducts, so I went back to holding them in place.

There is a good page on handsfree pumping here:

I've done it before with a Mothercare feeding vest. The holes cut in that are okay for the shields from the hospital but not the one soft one which came with the Swing. It had novelty value, but I prefer the excuse of needing to sit down and play on the laptop with my spare hand! :)
