Like I wish I could pretend the (crap parts of the) last nine weeks didn't happen and just bring my new baby home tomorrow as planned..
Honestly actually feel really priviledged that I got to meet Rhys nine weeks earlier than I should have done and have loved every minute I've spent with him, just wish it wasn't in the circumstance it was and that they caused all of his problems now. Feel lucky in a way that we've had the time at the hospital to learn everything we need to and that I didn't just get kicked out after 12 hours with a perfectly fine newborn but not a clue what to do!
Am managing to push it to the back of my mind for now, but still feeling crap about my body letting Rhys down (cord not forming properly) and putting his (and my) life in danger, but I think I can keep it there for the time being until I contemplate a second baby..
Sorry, that's probably a much more emotional answer than you were wanting! :rolleyes:0 -
nah its ok darlin .... your body didnt fail and just proves that you only make fighters
i think all 3 of you are amazing and im sure everyone on both this and the pg board will agree
... i think tomorrow you should put your feet up and enjoy what you have x
Still searching .....:)

Hello all
Hope your all well.
I've been away for the week, so haven't been on and I really don't have the energy to read back.
The person I want to ask something to save me reading back is Elle, how are things now Ryhs is home?

Fab ta
Biggest breakthrough is that he's totally bottle-fed (EBM) now so we've taken his feeding tube out - well, he "assisted" earlier and we haven't put it back in

Aww, that's great news!! Hopefully he'll feed well next few days so that you dont have to put it back in. Bet its lovely to see him without his little tube.
