see I think that is weird :o You pick an outfit to match your handbag ... not your shoes :rotfl:
but I always use the same handbag....

Roo has a few outfits, but mainly all in one sleep suits... they are just SO handy! Those and then the sleve and legless little outfits :) Proper outfits are saved for special outings - they're just so much hassle at this age I think :)

Izzy was in dresses, but it has been a bit cold for them this week - I need to get some leggings to go underneath them - no way am I wrestling a baby into tights  I've given up on socks. Will have to

Now it's got cooler she has been a dungarees baby. Much easier than jeans, as they all have poppers underneath.

We have the same being-mistaken-for-a-boy problem when not in dresses. Granny and Auntie (and mummy ) have been buying lovely summer dresses, but all the rest of Izzy's clothes are hand-me-downs from boys. Might have to pick her up a couple of girlie tops after payday I think.
or stick a pink bow on her head like racheal did to emma on friends :)

Well I am a snitch and rang the council, there is a guy who thinks he can park two cars on his driveway when it barely manages to fit one on there, I noticed this past week he hasnt been putting the car up the drive ;) I sound terrible dont I? I wouldnt normally bother but its the same road that the school is on so its not just me and Lexi and Joshua - its the hundred plus children that have to walk past each morning and afternoon...
i once reported a car as abandoned that was parked near my old flat, cos it belonged to someone that used it as his shed!! and i could have used the space for my car nicely :o

My friend was round earlier, her baby's head is soo flat at the back/side that she has to see a paed at the end of the month, poor mite. My friend keeps saying she thinks it is rounding out a bit...but i'm afraid I just can't see it?

    Hiya,

Erm... bit controversial given what others have said, but I was thinking of using follow on for 2 reasons, it's more nutritionally dense, so if the solids are over-filling, he'll get more calories from it with a less full tummy, and also it contains iron, which I'll try to include in his solids, but I think it can be a bit hit and miss if they really don't like the new flavour you've introduced that day!

    Obviously there's a slight money-saving incentive too.

    *Dons hard hat*;)
i thought the same :o i will use follow on from 6 months and go onto proper milk at 1 year. i will probably also use goodnight milk cos it has cereals to keep them full overnight :shhh:

I had to give Charlotte an urgent lesson on the pronunciation of the word mince. She was eating her tea and said "mmm eating the minge":rotfl:
i think thats the only thing today that has made me laugh!

we have had a horrible day, poor seth is really suffering with this cold, he cant eat cos he cant breathe through his nose and is crying cos he's hungry. he cant suck his dummy either bless him, and when he dozes off his snuffly nose wakes him. we syringe fed him 4oz earlier when it got to the point where he hadnt eaten for 6 hours but he made such a fuss we couldnt give any more. before that he had a 2 hour screaming fit and i may have rung OH crying and demanded he came home from work to help me :o i'm so worried about him getting dehydrated.

can you give babies paracetamol and ibuprofen at the same time? i know us adults can have both? i've given him both today but 5 hours apart and TBH i dont think they've made a difference at all, usually calpol knocks him out for a good sleep :(

  • em - Izzys head is a little bit flat at the back too - doctor told me not to worry, and that as she gets bigger, and spends more time sitting up/crawling/running around it will sort its-self out.... She said it's really common now that they recommend babies sleep on their backs, and used to be the reason that everyone was told to put baby down to sleep on her front, but it's not damaging to baby at all.

(although if you are worried best check with hv ... I'm not giving medical advice ;) )
