Not to scare you or anything - my ex SIL front bum was sewn up too tight after her first - she had to go and have it re-cut and stitched. (I think i'd have left it as it was - some people pay good money for that procedure!) :rotfl:

Seeing as the tone has been lowered to lady bits - I know that whilst you are bleeding after the birth you have to wear pads, when you start getting periods back, can you go back to your normal method of sanitary protection, or do you have to use pads for a set time?
LOL my friend told me to ask for extra stitches and was gutted for me when i didnt need any :rotfl:
i bled for about 3 weeks and then it stopped, and started again at 5 weeks, and i used tampons then :o but then as i said i didnt have any stitches so felt more or less healed around 3-4 weeks.

Benjamin is unsettled today, I think it is his teeth. A couple of questions for anyone who uses teething powders:

Does it ever stop feeling like you are giving your child some nasty drug? AND
How on earth do you give half a dose? Do you use a spoon or something?
i just fold the packet in half and tip the other half in his mouth, i think he likes the taste cos he smacks his lips after!

I gave him a top up when it got to half past, so he was okay while they were here. Until one of them looked him, the he screamed, threw up all over me then laughed. What a charmer!

Last time I tried him with a bottle he wouldn't take it!

She will prescribe something for the anxiety, but I'd have to not feed for 7 hours after. Can either try and express enough to cover 2-4 night feeds, give formula or wait till he is sleeping through every night.

I can't have therapy or group work without medication.

Feely obvioiusly the choice is yours and always will be, but I would seriously consider switching to formula and going for the medication and therapy. You've done brilliantly so far with the breastfeeding and expressing - even if you give up the BF then you have acchieved so much and it is your choice to give up, not because you have failed at it :) And at the end of the day I think you feeling happier and more balanced is at this point more important to all of you than you BFing... You have already given Toby the best start by BFing this far so don't feel guilty of you have to give it up...
