oh just want to share that I love M&S :D
I went today and when I got to the entrance all the baby trollies were soaked only the 'normal' one were under cover so I had to carry Edgar and push Chris in a normal trolly (obviously this is not why I like them, in fact if I was more like MFD I'd write a strongly worded letter about it :p) but when I was at the till a nice customer helped me put my shopping on the conveyer belt, before I could ask the SA offered to pack my bag for me and even did the zip up on my bag after I chucked my purse in then as I was walking through the store to leave I had to pause to shift Ed a bit and another SA asked if I needed help getting my shopping to the car :A so wouldn't happen in Asda or Tesco!

LOL - I would have complained there and then I think ;)

I love M&S too - we were buying some clothes for Benjamin a few Saturdays ago (we are going to a christening and he needed something nice!) and the SA took the time to chat to DSS who was stood with me at the till and show him how to draw a cute pic of a dog (you know the one that has a story that goes along with it) DSS was really pleased and couldn't wait to show everyone!

    how did you find that?!

Some of the people on SB's link had been testing it - it also took me to The Designer Baby Show but I am not sure that it is meant for people like me :p

she is a genuinely great eater - but does not like saucey-based stuff and recently i have been struggling as to hwat to give her for lunch. she is 19 months. she will not eat sandwiches or toasties for me, even though she loves toast.
Today i gave her a cracker, as she would not touch mine with some butter on it - because she could see it. Then i got sneaky and put some butter on and another cracker on top. ate it no problem. even, much to my distaste, started licking the butter off the cracker. So then i got even more sneaky - i sliced some cheese really fine and put that in between the crackers and she ate that no problem, except for when she broke the cracker and a piece of cheese feell out onto the floor. she handed it to me and said "yuk". i put her ccracker sandwich back together and she continued to eat it without a problem. can anyone make any sense of this? or have a DD or DS that is a bit of a weirdo like mine!?? lol
Sounds like it's a texture thing? So the dry cracker is OK, and the cracker with the cheese hidden is OK, because what she 'feels' is dry cracker. If she 'feels' anything 'slimy' like cheese or butter, she doesn't like it?

DS1 was my fussiest one: he didn't like things 'hidden', so didn't like sauces because I might have sneaked in something he didn't like. Since that included onions and most other veg, life was 'interesting'.

Oh, he liked raw carrot, but not cooked. For years we had to serve him sliced raw carrot with his Sunday lunch.

Is it probable she will outgrow the allergies?

    I did!

When I was a year old, I'd had some nasty sickness bug, so the doctor told my Mam to feed me scrambled egg once my tummy had settled. My Mam did and I immediately errupted in large itchy red lumps from head to foot. I was kept off eggs for years due to the lump effect, but I can eat them fine now (just don't really like them!)

Also anything with tomatoes in used to make me vomit as a child, but I can eat them with no ill effects at all now, which is good as I do like them!
Here I go again on my own....

    good morning all!

Thanks loads to all who did my little poll and for all the comments, it's been really useful in helping me think my decision through :T:T:T

Does anyone know how you can get a cup holder if your pram make is discontinued? I have a Jane (can't make my keyboard do an e acute at the end of that!) carrera C....

Going to scour the car boot for a doorway baby bouncer this morning, but after the hi-chair, I thought I'd ask you guys for anything I should be watchful for before purchasing!;) So any tips welcomed!

Not seen CG for a while... Hope you're as ok as you can be under the circs, my thoughts are with your family. :)

Does anyone have experience of doing a boots.com order and then getting the points put onto your advantage card? Can you give me an idiot's guide to how to do it? Ta in advance :)

Right, I think I have my packing list sorted for 9 days in Tenby.... It's mostly like MFD's but a bit longer break and for a self-catering holiday with cloth nappies and formula feeds. Happy to post if that helps anyone else?

Raining here, but will be very good for my salad plants :)

    Lots of love, Weezl xxx

PS if anyone sees red leggins when you're out and about, I'd love a recommendation of where!

How do you find car boot sales? I can't find any round here that aren't on a Sunday.

I did one when I bought a new travel cot for Alice. I can't remember anything being that difficult - I think I just had to enter in my card number at some stage. I also looked for voucher codes to get extra points.

savvy in scotland we have a completly diferent weather system to you! we have had a whole day of lovely warm weather and sunshine:( yesterday ended up raining and causing floods! sun is trying to get out today and its quite warm so heres hoping!

weezl for the baby bouncers i prefer the older style that holds the babies body rather than a seat they sit in and could topple out.

am sitting here with the phone in hand(been up since 3 lol) as billy connelly tickets go on sale at 9 and i want them:D so keep your fingers crossed for me!

    thanks for link SB
