Do you get the pink card from Social services? You must need to show some proof you are disabled especially if its a disability you cant see ,like mental health."Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0

What on earth is the pink card ?? I receive concessionary travel now and will get it free in April and I have no pink card!!! Here are the criterea
Over 60
under 60 but blind, partially sighted, deaf, without speech, mobility impairment or injury that impairs ability to walk, without use of both arms, have a learning disability or would be refused a driving licence under section 92 of part 111 of the road traffic act
OR
in receipt of DLA mobility or care element
You must provide proof of one of the above when you apply
In adition you can get a free companion pass if you get a letter from a doctor saying you cannot travel alone
Hope that helps!I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

I know i know nothing about benefits etc sorry.Where do you actually go to apply for the free bus pass?"Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."0 -
You get an application form from the council, the bus company or sometimes they have the application forms in the library. The concessionary travel pass could be provided by the bus company, but in our area anyway, the new pass to be used from April needs to be returned to the council. Give your local bus company a ring - they will know.I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes

Pink cards are given out by social services as proof of disability. Up here if you don't have a pink card you don't get a pass.Barclaycard 3800

I think its a way of keeping useless social workers in jobs. Coming up on 6 years of asking for help and what have we had, one 2 day respite care and a handrail in the toilet.Barclaycard 3800
