Disabled parking bays

  • Trix, these parking bays are absolutely intended for use by people who have a genuine requirement such as yourself rather than grumpy, selfish, perfectly able-bodied pensioners.
Solution: ban old people from supermarkets full stop.(Serious suggestion)

A disabled man said that he had problems in the evenings and had been told twice in the last week "I thought it was only in the day". A woman with two small children said she really needed to be near the trollies for safety reasons but often found parent and child bays used in the day. She said she didn't need them so much in the evening. She admitted that she had used disabled parking herself when the parent and child was full!

About my point that I can use the parent/child bays as I have two children, and the disabled bays because my youngest child is disabled - I HAVE NEVER used and WILL NEVER use one of these bays without the children with me.

When I have had the eldest non-disabled child with me, I haven't used the younger ones badge to use a disabled bay when the P/C bays are full. Even when it has been raining heavily I have never being tempted as it would be hypocritical of me to misuse the badge in this way.

The woman who says she has used a disabled bay in this circumstance is completely out of order and probably complains about mis-use of the P/C bays.

I have just seen a report on ITN news showing selfish B's using the Disabled bays when most of the carpark was empty.

"I just nipped in to get some money but I would'nt do it usually" was the excuse of one idiot

Simply there is no justification if your not Disabled you don't use them. My dear dad can hardly walk and because he's proud, I call it stupid, he won't allow me register him for badge dispite being 75 years young and being treated for bowl cancer , he would'nt dream of parking in a D/Bay as he says hes not entitled to.

So to all the people who whinge and say that they can't find a space and use a D/Bay, I hope the orange/blue badge brigade give you a short sharp reminder and shove their sticks up where the fumes come from Exhaust is the word i'm looking for. >:( maybe :-/
Rememember. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
Never pass up an opportunity to go to the bathroom.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You get another chance. And finally, be really nice to your family and friends; you never know
when, You might need them to empty your bedpan.

People who park in disabled or parent parking are selfish individuals

But people will park there because it's easy!

My local ASDA will announce the car reg of any cars that are parked incorrectly and get them to move it if you go and tell customer services ;D so I assume that the others do as well - as if everyone complains then they may work out that its really annoying >:(

I have 2 small children so I normally get the far end of the carpark just so I can get both doors open (carseat access)

The reply that I've had when querying the missing children - yes I do ask ::) is ' I would have move if someone needed it!!!!!' How would they know?
