Why is this? She is living away from home and doing fulltime course.
72% of the loan in non-income assessed, the other 28% is income assessed. Therefore, if you have not provided any financial details, you're daughter will have only had a non-income assessment and will only be offered the minimum loan.
Assuming your daughter will be moving away from home and not to London, if your household income is below £57,708, she will be entitled to additional loan, if not, it will just be the £3,564 plus fees.0 -

Hello, my brother and I have always had non-income assessed student finance in the past, and I initially applied for this for the coming year. However, my parents' income has significantly changed since then and I would now be entitled to a grant if my application was income assessed. Is there any way to change things at this stage?
Your parents will both need to complete the current year income assessment form (not a change of circumstances form) - scroll down to "If you're expecting your household income to drop" for the form.
They will probably need to do one for you and one for your brother if you're both still in HE.0 -
Hi
My son 19 just about to go collage for two years on a Foundation deagree, One partent on long term incapacity, and the other on less than 10k, no real savings, can you give any help on what is available
Thanks0 -
I am wondering if you can shed any light onto my situation....
I am a homeowner living with partner and am about to start my final yr at university - myself and partner have moved into my parents for the short term as we were struggling financially during termtime.
i applied for student loan as "living with parent" and it has been assessed on my parents income so i received around 2343 for the year. i want the student loan assessed on my partners income as my parents do not help us in anyway financially. is this possible even though we are not living away from home?? i am over 25 and thought i would be considered as a mature student not but does this not apply when living at home?
we rent the property out but only for the short term so there is a risk of us covering the mortgage at some point during my time at uni - is there any help with this? the rent we receive only covers part of the mortgage anyway so could i get help with this also? i am confused!! how do i go about this? is there any other grant i could apply for to help a little? my partner earns less than 15K - i am planning on working part-time during my fnal year but with the demands of my course i'm not sure how much i can work....hope you can help!! Thanks! xx
