Hi Tigz, welcome to the ups and downs of CD.

Its great, well everyone on here is great. I'm just not great at CD.

    Well I've proved my theory.
    6 out of 7 days I WAS BAD:mad:
    1 out of 7 days I WAS GOOD:A

Put 3lb on. So my half on half off, theory has been proven beyond doubt. 6 days halves on = 3lb, and I didn't even get my half off at all.

So - Thats it SSing now 7 days straight.

    Hi Tigz :j

Sorry that I havent been around guys... totm again!, bad headache, depression, tired and have to work  So incase you wonder where I am I am around just not posting.
  • hey guys,
well i have been lurking on here for a while now, and decided to bite the bullet and join in, as i have started Cambridge Diet Yesterday, i stuck to it 100%, and so far so good its 7.30pm and i have stuck to it completely!!

lots of running to the loo, lol, but as the saying goes, the more you drink the more you shrink! lol

i did Lighter Life before, and i lost 4.5 stone, which was great!! but towards the end of that time i fell pregnant and had a miscarriage which was devastating, and just fell off the wagon, i couldnt get back into the swing of doing a VLCD, as i feel to be on this type of diet you need to be fully focused and comitted to it, and if i have anything that is stressing me or taking away my focus i just fall of the wagon completely...

but this time i feel i am in the right frame of mind to really tackle this head on, i am jumping back on the wagon adn feeling more positive and focused than i have in a long time...

so hope to share stories and successes with you guys, and looking forward to see how you all get on!

hi all - i've been good as gold each day at work but found myself eating every evening...... today has been a bad bad day.......

Weight has stayed the same, which is a blessing, but more by good luck than good management!!

    Hi all

well- bit of a tricky week ahead for me- need your advice

    Week 1= lost 8lbs (62 to go)
    Week 2= lost 0lbs (62 to go)
    Week 3= lost 2lbs (60 to go)

Yesterday was my week 3 weigh in but I did it myself on my friend's scales as I couldn't go to my CDC (NO MONEY FOR DIET NEXT WEEK!)

Help! What do I do? I ate a normal meal last night as I was at a hen night so I just low carbed it, although I did have 2 glasses of bubbly (trust me- that is incredibly restrained for me).

I have enough porridge sachets for breakfast mon-fri next week and 2 shakes which means I am missing 8 meals for next week. Seeing as I don't have enough CD products to get me through, what should I do instead?

Please reply...will still do 4 litres of water a day but don't know what's the best choice foodwise. DO NOT want to regain any weight- I want to lose this week!

Have a look in your yellow Cambridge book and find the section on Sole Source Plus. If its one meal a day you are having to supplement then it won't hurt to have the couple of tablespoons of green salad and the tin of tuna (in brine) or plain chicken. You can still lose easily on SS+. Good luck.

  • Shoes ~ I agree with Goldy... go with CD endoursed food. So fish, chicken (little/no red meat) veg with little carbs and no illegal fluids. Even if you have one CD meal a day and two SS+ meals I am sure your weight will still come off. Not as drastic but at least you wont gain :j

I am still going, lacking on the water front today but not been myself as work has caught up on me (overtime). Totm has stoped, two heavy days and thats it  Anyways weigh in tomorow and I feel so fat :rotfl: I am going to say 2lb at a huge push... we shall see.
