Well done on your happy clappy Maz, looking good!
I need to hit the water today, I havent been drinking enough at all.

Its still the best way to lose the weight Alf, slow and steady, I know we are all looking for the quick fix, but it definitely isn't the best and healthiest way to go.

I shall let mr Dunc know about Mr Alfs success, it might spur him on a bit. He ended up being a wipe out and finished off the corned beef on butties!!!!

He keeps blaming his diverticulitus, I think CD would be good for this, anyone know if its supposed to be good or bad ???

my aunt had diverticulitis and it was quite bad, she had to get a portion of her intestine removed and a colostomy bag for a while, which was reversed successfully and she's fine now...

i really don't know what the contra-indications would be for CD with the condition... i suppose it might not be the best from a bowel movement point of view as it can slow bowel movements down which is not good for the intestine...

maybe he needs an extra fibrous supplement, something proper fibre-ey like bran in his case. plus would maybe make him feel more full...?

Question - since i'm changing CDC's but not seeing anyone til next thursday..... shall i weigh myself on the weekend and record my results on my spreadsheet?

Or shall i wait until thursday and hope for a bumper loss and record it then...?

i will be weighing myself anyway in between but whether to record it as official or not?

I'd let your new CDC do it.

Have your heard any more re old CDC? Will you get your photo back etc?

I agree with Spud. But I'd check it myself too. And don't forget that your new CDC's scales may be slightly different aswell so don't panic if the first wi isn't as good as you'd hoped.

I think hes looking for excuses :D He is taking a fybagel aswell to keep him regular.

My mum had diverticulitis, and she had to take some fibre stuff that looked like cat litter. She had quite a bit of her intestine removed too, but never needed a colostomy.

Dunc, could you not email CD HQ and ask them whayt effect CD has on it or ask CDC to find out?

I've been good but I've stayed the same. So frustrated. Weighed myself as couldn't wait til Sat and I've stayed the same. Feel heavy, bloated and annoyed. My CDC will not be happy. He is a drill sergeant.

GGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR it's only week 2 and I'm hitting a wall already.

make sure you're drinking plenty of water, as you maybe just need to give your system a good flush babes........ enough to shift a couple of pounds in a couple of days before weigh in.........

how much water are you taking on?

Maz is right Shoes, water intake makes a huge difference.

I havent been drinking anywhere near enough and my wi is tom. Going to have to force it down today.

When I lost the plot for about 10 days, I drank gallons and after 1 day on SS lost 8 lbs.

You cannot take in what you are and not lose weight Shoes, don't be disheartened.
