Morning all, I need some of your friendly advice.

I'm not hungry. Not even in the slightest. I have my 3 shakes but thats at a push. We're in a really stressful position as DH has been told he has 30 days before they decide whether or not to make him redundant :( Anyway, so i've gone romr being ravenous all the time to not wanting to eat. In fact an evil imp sitting on my shoulder even told me to see if I could survive on only 2 shakes a day, to see if i could lose more weight. Sad, and wrong I know. :( Its even TOTM when I'm usually crazy for chocolate. Does this phase pass? or is it just because I'm worried?

    Thanks.
I wish i could talk about this to my friends but they are all gossips who dissapprove of my diet anyway :(

Hi Ethansmum, sorry to hear about DH's precarious work situation, that must be horrible for you all :(

It may be that are you now in ketosis and that's why you're not hungry, that's the ideal situation, to not feel ravenous.......that, linked in with the stress, is quite likely to be causing it.

You should keep to the right number of shakes though, if you don't have enough, it can be dangerous longer-term, as your body isn't having enough nutrients it needs to keep everything working properly. Look after yourself.

    Hugs

Yes doin ok this week, just hope i have the same enthusiasm next week, i suppose the weigh in will be the answer then but i supposed there is always sole source plus to think of if ur feelin the need to eat somethin...but at the moment im ok and time will tell. Still had no headaches or anythin so very pleased x:D
  • Well I have had nearly 2 days sort of off because I have been ill:( Feeling better now so back on it today. I have a busy day ahead ofme as I need to catch up with some work I missed, so hopefully that will take my mind off feeling hungry!

    How is everyone else doing?

Hiya skinty, I find keeping busy stops me being wanting food, hope it works for you too :)

I'm 1lb off where I was before lapsing earlier in the week with the painkillers, phew! Was hoping I'd be back there today, but 4lb in 2 days is good, 5lb would have been even better *sigh*

I'm such a hard taskmaster on myself! Need to relax and go with the flow, I'm losing weight, that's good in itself :)

Have a great day everyone, it's cold and miserable here, think I'll miss out the icecubes in my breakfast shake this morning *brrr*
  • Hello all

Have been reading on this thread (and the previous one) and thinking of doing the CD myself.

Just wanted to ask a few questions about it & wondered if anyone might be able to help!

How much does CD cost per week/ month? From doing a bit of research I think I would be on 3/4 packs per day (possibly due to my height)

Also does everyone use CD packs or another brand, i heard about one called W8 - is that much the same?

I cna see that you can loose weight really quickly :j but I just wondered about getting saggy skin - sorry if this is too personal for anyone - its just that I have about 6st:eek: to loose so was thinking that it has to go somewhere! Has anyone been able to combat this by introducing exercise? I have recently started swimming again so wondered if that would be good.

Sorry I know these questions might have been asked somewhere on here before - i have scoured the threads but there are sooo many!

    Thanks for your help

    Happy Saturday
