If you are spending it in pounds then hold it in pounds, its not certain for either currency.
I would guess for year end a weaker pound, stronger euro, weaker dollar and Australian or Canadian dollars, etc stronger0 -

Not sure what I'll do but any ideas if I can do better than a basic deposit account for US Dollars in the UK? I'm opening an account with Natwest which pays a pointless 0.05% on Dollar deposits.0
