Well, my CCE delivery arrived safely yesterday :j. With BBC website currently reporting trading at 1.4847, I'm quite pleased with my 1.4934 :) ! (although, obviously $2 would have been better :D)

Have a great time Jackie! Only a week to go :)

I've got to wait 29 days until Cancun... and 84 until Vegas. Aine just a bee-atch.
There again I've got 2 weeks in LA, working, in April too.. so I can't really complain.

Sitting in an airport now, bored...

    Thanks Neil :)
Yes, this time next week we'll be half way across the Atlantic! (fingers crossed! - Good Friday at Heathrow  - I'm anticipating a joyful experience _pale_)

How lovely to have holidays 'stacked' so when you get back from the first you've already got another one to look forward to !

We're flying home from LAX on 17th April (best thing to do with LA, leave from it! :D)

Hope your flight today is a good one!:hello:

    Jackie

I'll be in LA 12th - 16th. Carson to be precise. About 15 miles south of LAX. I've actually grown to like the place. 13 visits in 16 weeks does that to you. The trick is to have a hotel that's close to the site we're working on and restaurants so you don't need to hit the traffic!

It's great having holidays stacked! The whole mentally for holidays is different over here. No one takes 2 weeks off and goes to somewhere warm. I guess that's because 90% of Americans have a hot summer to look forward to :)

A week is the longest people take off. Lots of long weekends. Which I like the sound of!

Next holidays are already in the pipeline... a few days golfing in Palm Springs in September. A trip home over Xmas and then a week somewhere warm in February next year!

    Sounds fantastic Neil.
I understand why you're enjoying the US lifestyle! :j

I guess not having to spend two days travelling does make taking shorter breaks a better option! (Also I guess not being restricted to school holidays helps as well! :D)

Thanks for posting Neil, i've got my eye on the rate as hoping to get at least 1.50 before heading to New York on 9th April. Fingers crossed :p

Thomas Exchange Global are offering 1.49 today, but i'm not in London. Anyone know any high street places that will match the rate?
