US ($) Currency Thread 2

Went for my U.S Dollars today Post Office at first seemed the best at 1.59.then went past Cash Cconverters and noticed in the window they offered currency exchange. Teir rate was 1.60 and he said he would increase it if we purchased £5000 or more. Only straight cash no travellers cheques. Next we tried the Money shop. they had no travellers cheques only cash.They offered 1.63 !!!! Next door was Going places who said if we purchased there and then would match it at 1.63 . As they had both T.cheques and Dollars we settled with them. Worth trying a few and seeing if they will match. Off to Vegas this morning.:j Cant wait

money market is at 1.65 and not expected to change much. Best rate is 1.63 in ten days time from crown currency, 1.68 in a months time.

Looks like now is the time to play my "I'm not in the UK" card with the FF. A poor show!

Great news on the Ashes. Not being able to watch is probably the first time I'm missed the UK Can't beat whipping them Aussies.
